CONSEQUENCE - The practitioner does not decide what arbitrary punishment should occur.The work instead calls for appropriate consequences already belonging to the person's choices to stop being continually diverted onto everyone else.

RECKONING - Eventually, the mirror asks one question: Can you recognize your own hand in what keeps happening around you?

Martyr's Mirror combines black mustard, black pepper, hyssop, nettle, rue, rosemary, ginger, bay and ritual ash/charcoal.

Each ingredient is selected for its role within the symbolic architecture of the working: pressure, memory, reversal, sting, revelation, movement and the burning away of false narratives. Every batch is ritually worked over a mirror during its creation.
