Deep Aubergine β’ Berry-Violet Shift β’ High-Shine Finish
Meet your newest little familiar.
Berry Familiar is a rich, deep aubergine lip gloss inspired by the almost-black purple of ripe elderberries, finished with an aubergine color-shifting glitter that catches the light with every movement.
At first glance, she is dark, juicy, and mysterious. Then the light hits, and flashes of dimensional berry-violet shimmer come alive across the lips.
Deep enough to make a statement but still unmistakably berry, Berry Familiar was created for the ones who have always kept a little magic close.
Because every witch deserves a familiar.
Even if this one lives in your makeup bag.
The Shade
Berry Familiar is a:
π« Deep elderberry-inspired aubergine
π Rich berry-purple
β¨ Aubergine color-shifting shimmer
π€ Dark, juicy finish
π High-shine gloss
Depending on the natural color of your lips, lighting, and how much you apply, the shade can move from a sheer dark berry wash to a deeper, moodier aubergine finish.
Wear one layer for a juicy berry veil or build it when you want your familiar to show her claws.
The Inspiration
There is something inherently magical about berries darkening on the branch.
Green becomes red.
Red becomes purple.
Purple deepens until the fruit looks almost black.
And hidden inside that darkness is sweetness.
Berry Familiar was inspired by ripe elderberries, that gorgeous deep aubergine color that seems to shift between berry, wine, violet, and black depending on the light.
The name came from the idea of the familiar: the magical companion, the creature at the witch's side, the presence that has become inseparable from the imagery and folklore surrounding witchcraft.
So I wanted this shade to feel like a tiny cosmetic familiar of its own:
Dark.
Sweet.
A little mischievous.
And always close at hand.
How To Wear Berry Familiar
Wear Berry Familiar alone for a dimensional berry-aubergine lip.
Apply a lighter layer when you want just a wash of dark fruit and shifting shimmer.
Build additional layers for greater depth.
Pair it with a berry, plum, wine, brown, or deep neutral lip liner to change the entire personality of the shade.
And for an especially dramatic look, layer it over a deep berry or aubergine lipstick.
One familiar. A hundred moods.
βEvery witch deserves a familiar.β
